Benefits of Spraying with Drones
Coverage - Atomized spray droplets get thrust downward from the propellors of the drones. This helps generate a uniform coverage and a deep canopy penetration.
Efficiency - Drones can spray areas of a field or pasture that are otherwise hard to reach with an airplane or too timely to do with a tractor or ATV sprayer. They can follow terrain quickly and accurately, spray close to tree lines, and reach isolated locations.
Precision - Utilizing RTK guidance and on board radars, spray drones offer precise applications and superior terrain following.
Opportunity - We hate to say no to a good rain, but too much can make fields inaccessible to a ground rig. Drones can help fill that downtime by being able to spray when the ground is too saturated to drive on. Weeds don’t take days off!

Dry spreaders on agriculture drones offers a convenient way to broadcast granular fertilizers, cover crop seed, and more.
Olson Drones utilizes the large capacity RevoCast spreaders to offer alternatives ways to broadcast a variety of different granular products and seeds.
Benefits of Spreading with Drones
Timing - Aerial seeding offers additional growing time for seeds. Spreading cover crops with a drone opens up the window of getting seed on the ground before harvest, allowing for additional growth, maximizing the benefits of the growing plants.
Utility - Drones can spread in hard to reach places and during times when a ground rig can’t enter a field.
